  • have applied and been accepted into a study program at one of the designated learning institutions

  • have enough funds to pay your tuition and living expenses

  • have no criminal record

  • have no serious medical conditions (individuals from certain countries and occupations require medical exam)

  • can demonstrate that you will leave Canada by the end of your study permit
