Provincial programs enable provinces to select immigrants destined to their province.

Each province has its different immigration streams. In general, provinces target skilled and semi-skilled workers, international students, farmers and business people.

In order to immigrate through one of the provinces, you must:

• apply to a chosen province for a Certificate of Nomination

• once nominated submit your application for permanent residence to the federal government along with your Certificate of Nomination
